Wooden Holiday Sign Craft
This little wooden welcome sign craft is super duper easy! I picked up the sign in the fall clearance aisle at Target, and hot glued some flowers on it… Wallah!
The word “craft” is being used very loosely for this post my dears… haha. I will let you in on a little secret. The wooden welcome sign was not DIY, but picked up from Target for 75% off in their Fall decor section! Score!
The welcome sign lights up, and it just had to be mine. BUT, I had to make it my own. You know, jazz it up a little. Here’s to you ladies that think that you aren’t very crafty 🙂 Stay with me here, and you will feel crafty. Haha.
Pick out a wooden sign at your favorite home decor store (think Target or Hobby Lobby) or Amazon if you don’t want to leave the house. Are you in love with it? Because if you don’t LOVE it then you will think you failed at the craft and beat yourself up. Don’t do that! You are going to make something pretty dang it!
The pinecones and burlap flower just go with my rustic Christmas decor, so I went with those. The bendy tree branches shown are actually left over supplies from my country Christmas centerpiece. Choose whatever elements that go with your sign and decor, and just hot glue them on. Easy peasy right?
That is all I did. Simplicity at is finest. I feel like I crafted, but I didn’t have to start from scratch. This craft is perfect for those who don’t have a lot of time 🙂
As you can tell, I am all about decor right now. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Thank you for checking out my wooden holiday sign, and let me know how your projects and decorating are going in the comments!
