Style Saturday Vol 2

Hello Mommas!

Introducing a new weekly post that I am deeming “Style Saturday.” I have had quite a few mommas ask for style inspiration, and I am more than happy to oblige 🙂

These fashion posts will be short & sweet because let’s face it, us moms don’t have time for all that! We also don’t have time to be out shopping that much, and if you are like me… you usually end up buying more clothes, shoes, etc. for your kids instead.

You know those memes out there that say something like ‘My kid looks like a Gap model, but I look homeless’ or something along those lines… Not up in here my friends! LOL

Take a peek at this week’s style, and let me know what you think!

As a Stella & Dot Stylist, you are getting fashion ideas straight from the source!

I am making it as EASY as possible to get this look by posting the links to my online boutique for the accessories, and finding similar clothes online at affordable prices.

**This post contains affiliate links. See my full disclosure here.

The Accessories

 1. Arc Pendant Necklace (On SALE NOW!)

2. Chevron Aviator Sunglasses in black

3.  SOHO Flap Wallet – Saddle

The Clothes and Shoes

  1. Gemma Caftan (Tunic) *From Stella & Dot!
  2. Jeans
  3. Sandals

I am VERY happy about how close I got with finding the jeans and shoes that were pictured in the outfit inspiration from S&D. They are both from Amazon… so super easy to get, and budget friendly!

If there are any styles or trends that you would like to see in the future just leave me a comment or shoot me an email at Sahvana@livingthatmomlife.com

Also… Would you wear the outfit in this week’s Style Saturday? Just curious to see if this is your style or not.

Thanks!

&

Have a great Memorial Day weekend ladies 🙂

With Love,

Being a mom has changed my style quite a bit, and at first I didn’t know how to dress my postpartum body. I seriously wore scrubs for like months after my first baby was born. LOL

My hubby was getting worried, but he never said anything about it until after I stopped wearing them.

(Now he just begs me not to wear LLR, because I “look like The Big Lebowski.” HAHA)

Style Saturday outfits will always have mommas in mind 🙂 Comfortable, functional clothing that makes you feel better about yourself because confidence is always in style… And a confident mom is a happier mom, so here’s to you!

If there are any styles or trends that you would like to see in the future just leave me a comment or shoot me an email at Sahvana@livingthatmomlife.com

Have a great weekend ladies 🙂

All the jewelry is hypoallergenic. This is extremely important to me because I have such sensitive skin, and a lot of jewelry irritates it. I haven’t had any issues whatsoever with wearing anything from Stella & Dot.

Sometimes a Mom just needs to do a Little Something for Herself… So I became a Stylist!

Stella & Dot Independent Stylist

Hello There Beautiful Moms!

I am now an Independent Stylist for Stella & Dot! Parenting is the best job ever… if you want to call it that. Parenting is so rewarding, and such a beautiful part of life. It is also a lot of work. Hard work, but I don’t really like calling it a job per se. I yearned for something more, something to call my own, and a way to feel like I was contributing (financially) to the family unit.

I was also looking for a way to add a style section into my blog. Fashion was my first love, but after completing a year of design school I realized that pattern making, draping, and sewing were not my forte. I am passionate about accessories because I have battled with gaining and losing weight in recent years, and you know what??? My accessories always fit me right!

Me + Stella & Dot is a match made in Heaven. I get to have girls’ nights, and become a stylist! Helping other women (especially moms) pick accessories to change up their wardrobe is very rewarding. Moms usually: 1. Don’t have a lot of time for style and 2. Tend to put their entire family’s needs in front of their own, so I like to give them the opportunity to spoil themselves every once in a while. Besides the style side and helping moms, I get to earn commission and free jewels! Say what!? Everything I was looking for was right in front of me, so I took the leap to become a Stella & Dot Independent Stylist.

Look for more posts (many more posts) about Stella & Dot in the future, and me totally gushing over their beautiful accessories.
